Many of us believe that children are our future. Children are the church’s future. Therefore, the church, parents and teachers have the responsibility to nurture and train them to become strong future members and leaders. How about the present? Should we not begin our training now instead of pressing the pause button on children? Research shows that if people do not accept Jesus as their Savior before they reach their teenage years, the chance of accepting Him later is very slim.
Children’s Ministries engages children in their formative years not only will build a strong church today, but will keep the church strong into the future.

- Have you ever felt really sad about something? So sad that you cried? That’s how Hannah felt. May . . . God . . . grant you what you have asked of him. 1 SAMUEL 1:17, NIV. We serve God when we help others.
- God gives me blessings, more than I can ask or imagine. “[He] is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20, NIV).
- We serve God when we take care of others. “Again Jesus said,. . . ‘Do you truly love me? . . . Take care of my sheep’ (John 21:16, NIV).
- I serve Jesus when I help to meet others’ needs. “ ‘Give them something to eat’ ”(Matthew 14:16, NIV).
- Jesus is everyone’s Friend. “ ‘Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst’ ” (John 4:14, NIV).
- “I follow Jesus and share Him with others. “ ‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will make you fishers of men’ ” (Matthew 4:19, NIV).
